Huge success during the XII Conferência Ibérica de Inovação na Educação com TIC (ieTIC2026) – 19-20 February 2026, Madrid, Spain
IeTIC 2026 is not just a conference; it is a platform for convergence between technological innovation and pedagogical excellence, uniting not only the perspectives and experiences of Portugal and Spain, but also of other parts of the globe. The parallel communication sessions throughout the conference (on topics such as Intelligent Systems for e-learning, Cybersecurity technologies and processes, and Ethics in Artificial Intelligence and throughout the digital world, among others related to educational digital technology) guaranteed a rich space for the presentation of cutting-edge research and innovative projects developed by the community.
The project consortium was represented by prof. PhD Pilar Gutiez Cuevas – President of AMPAT, Prof. PhD Cristina Sanchez Romero from UNED, Andrean Lazarov from BIST, Carmen Gutiez Cuevas from AMPAT and Vitor Gonsalves from IPB. During different sessions, each of them presented their modules as part of the 2-semester course further qualification course for teachers in design for digital learning and use of educational technology as a foundation for creative thinking and inclusion.
Since the conference was broadcasted online, it gave the opportunity to reach a wider network of higher educational institutions from Latin America, which extended the dissemination and exploitation of our project and its results’ coverage.
