Sharing IM-PRO-IN-DE Results at an Portuguese International Multiplier Event – 25 March 2026

On March 25, 2026, the IM-PRO-IN-DE project reached a significant milestone with a Multiplier Event that brought together researchers, teachers, and students from Portugal and Brazil. This event served to disseminate the project’s main outcomes and foster reflection among experts in the field.

The event was held in a hybrid format, taking place simultaneously at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) room, the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) room, and the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) room, while also seeing strong participation via videoconference.

Innovation and Inclusion in Higher Education

The primary goal of this gathering was to present the project’s platforms and tangible results, promoting a deep discussion on digital education, inclusion, and accessibility within the context of higher education.

The opening session and the presentation of results were led by Professors Vítor Gonçalves, Elza Mesquita, Paula Vaz, and Ilda Ribeiro, who detailed the project’s journey and the tools developed to support instructional design.

Expert Panel and Practical Discussion

A highlight of the event was the panel dedicated to Digital Technologies and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), featuring insights from:

  • Prof. Eniceia Gonçalves Mendes (UFSCar, Brazil)
  • Prof. Olívia Carvalho (IEES, Portugal)
  • Prof. Gabriela Alias Rio (IFSP, Brazil)

The afternoon featured a strong practical component, where participants worked in groups to analyze the IM-PRO-IN-DE online course modules. This session culminated in the creation and presentation of mind maps that synthesized discussions on the future of digital training. The themes addressed reflect the critical needs of modern education, ranging from instructional design theories and e-learning quality standards to the use of intelligent technologies, ethics, and leadership in managing pedagogical design teams.

Numbers that Reflect Success

The attendance demonstrated the high relevance of these topics to the community:

  • In-Person Participation: 135 participants (79 at IPB, 25 at UFSCar, and 31 at UFSM).
  • Digital Participation: More than 50 participants joined online via videoconference.
  • Training Impact: To date, 160 participants have successfully completed the various modules offered.

Whether you are a teacher, trainer, or student, the IM-PRO-IN-DE project continues to offer resources to enhance your skills in the digitalization of advanced instructional design training.
